Golden Helmets are collectible upgrades in mental worlds that when picked up permanently increases how many Projection Layers that Razputin Aquato can have. In Psychonauts he starts the game with a maximum of five projection layers, and when all six of them are collected he can have up to a maximum eleven projection layers.
